I heard that a JMC aircraft will be flying to YYC on Thursday Dec. 20th. Can anybody confirm this? If so, do you know the Aircraft type, and when it comes?

I read an add in the Globe & Mail on 28Nov01 stating that a tour operator was selling seats for Vancouver and Calgary to London, using "JMC A330" aircraft.
Another interesting note was that the same tour operator was selling seats from Toronto to London using "Airtours 767" aircraft.

Just checked www.jmc.com and yes JMC will be flying with the A330 from LGW to YYC on the 20th, arriving at 11:25, departing at 12:25. They do show other flights on jmc.com but they are operated by Monarch.

Right on, thanks guys!! It'll be nice to see an A330 at YYC again. I know there's a Monarch flight tommorow as EGGD will be on that one. I'd better make some spotting time over the next couple days.

But Weather sucked crap. Clouds everywhere NO SUN AT ALL and it was breezing Cold. My fingers and toes froze!
Also Rwy 16 was in use so that kinda sucked the good 34 spots.
And I got stopped by security when I saw JMC.
Also I skipped school and not I have to come up with a snappy excuse for tomorrow.
But Overall:

I was about to post the question "When did JMC start flying to Calgary". I work at GE, and our offices look out at the airport. I went to the washroom, and saw a JMC a330 taking off, and I thought to myself- well that's odd. I never heard about the new route for some reason. Anyway, it was quite a suprise, and I rate it as the best thing that happened all day!
(Of course, I can hardly start a conversation by saying: Guess what I saw in the bathroom today! )
Someday, we'll look back at this, laugh nervously, and then change the subject.

I took only 4 or 5 pictures of it. had to shoot rhtu the fence unfortuenatly..
I fear that some of the fence will show up on my pictures cutting away parts of the plane.
It was nice seeing it but not Great cuz of the bad conditions.

Taken almost in the same day during its entire round set of flights. LGW-YYC, YYC-YVR, YVR-LGW..

We'll just have to see whose shots are the best ... do you guys think you can beat a touch-down shot with cloud-less skies and a snowy mountain as the background, while the sun is a mere 10 degrees above the horizon? Give it a shot! Unfortunately since I shoot Kodachrome, you'll see the shots in 2-3 weeks. I've got a whole bunch of other surprises for you guys... if I get the rolls and rolls back from Kodak.
Any news on AirTours flights to YYC/YVR?

Full crap weather with Pure Grey/Shite conditions! Fence with some Cars in the way, and its a taxiing shot!
HAA! oh and there is no mountains!
Monarch came today Flight was 3-something.
Mark: Did you see monarch when you went today???
Or are you goign spotting tomorrow?
I still aint sure about airtours. My guess is that the thing with MyTravel like say planes being refitted with something may be the cause for this delay with flight schedules ??
Perhaps these other guys may have a better answer!
I know I will be back on Jan 3rd when JMC comes once again!!

No i missed the Monarch. Every day i was in YWG it snowed then i ome home to YYC and the chinook ends and it starts snowing. I got some pictures of the A321 and the new Calm Air scheme!
