This is a question i have been asking myself for a while, is there any flights going on at Midnight on the 31st? I know that there is a flight from YUL-CDG departing at 7:30 at night and arriving in PAris at 8 the next day. There is only around 5 people on the flight. Is there anyflights going in or out of your hometown airport?

BA have a few going, couldn't say which though (it would take you ages to search through their online timetable to find it too).

The Phoenix newspaper I read stated that the only flight in the US in the air before/during/after midnight on December 31 is a flight on AA from DFW to San Francisco. Also some bigwig from the FAA/DOT will be on board, so no cancelling allowed! By the above, I mean a single flight taking off before midnight and landing after midnight.

Hey all
Sabena has only two flights in the air. One from Johannesburg and one aircraft from another African destination.
There will be also a special flight around Belgium during december 31 and january the first. On board of this aircraft will be Paul Reutlinger. (head of Sabena untill january 1)
And all the other aircrafts will be parked at the tarmac. Very busy at the airport but no departure flights or arriving flights.

Royal Air Maroc just cancelled a flight from a friend of mine (BOD - OZZ) ; they told all flights were going to be cancelled between 30/12 and 01/01 because of terrorist attacks risks but I think it's due to the Y2K bug fear.
