Hey does anybody else have trouble with United Feeder Service. Constant Lateness those people can't even spell schedule let alone keep one. And baggage is constantly misplaced. It's a good thing they left Akron/Canton. Now there's ACA which is much better. Anyone else have bad service from Air Wisconsin or any other United Express or Feeder service

I have experienced this also. A flight on UAL Express from IAD-MDT, flight scheduled to leave at 9:00 PM, never got onto the plane till 11PM. Okay A Normal delay, no reason was given. By this time the people coming in from this flight lost their connection and were stranded here for the night. They changed our gate 5 times and I think we were one of the last flights out of there! They mentioned to us if the aircraft didn't arrive they would have to bus us! Which was considerate, but they never offered hotel vouchers or anything. The other leg of that trip was on ACA, and I was very impressed with there excellent service!

Earlier this year, I had the pressure of flying from ONT-FAT via SFO. After a 2 hour delay on the Shuttle, with dubious explanations, the gate agents at SFO were nothing short of 24 karat A**holes. The wild goose chase they sent me on caused me to miss 2 consecutive connecting flights to FAT. Finally, after more rudeness, and incompetence, I refused to board the plane until the GA personally escorted me and my belongings onto the ramp. I then refused to board the Brasilia until said GA got the flight plan from the pilot to prove to me that he was putting me on a plane going to Fresno. United's remedy of the problem was a generous handout of 3 $25 travel vouchers, which cannot even be used at the same time. Of course, they are just sitting in a drawer somewhere gathering dust. I was kicking myself for not making the damn 260 mile drive to Fresno like I always do. I have since refused to do any business with UAL or any of its subsidiaries, and once again, whenever I want to go to Fresno, I drive.

I've never had a problem with United Express out of either IAD (Dulles), LAX or ORD. All flights have been within reason....most arrived early. Atlantic Coast (the United Express operator out of IAD) has a huge fleet of Canadair Regional Jets and their service is excellent. I've never used an Express flight out of Denver so I can't comment. (Frontierman, is your anti-United bias coloring your impressions?). SFO has numerous delays due to insufficient runway capacity. Getting in and out of there on shuttle/feeder flights by any airline is a pain in the rear.

Maybe I'm a little bit anti-United Shuttle, but I have nothing to hold against regular United or most United express carriers. I'm simply stating facts sometimes facts are damaging to an Airlines reputation in this case it was Air Wisconsin.

UFS will no longer exist at ohare. thier routes are being handed over to air wisconsin(who bought new do328 props for the routes)and ACA will put crj's on others..they have been a problem airline(primarily due to their aircraft,,the ATP) from the beginning and United is finally doing something about the situation..
as for other United Express.. United does not do a real good job of keeping up their reputations..american.continental and northwest, etc. have better feed programs in place..higher performance standards, training,etc............

Even though I "Like" UFS, I have some negative things to "Vent" about them. FIRST, www.untied.com had a story about a couple on United Feeder, with their 11 year old. The F/A said "He must stay behind". Now all this time I have "lite" supported them. My trip was ok. The F/A was a jerk. Stay behind, overbooked. AN 11 YEAR OLD LEFT BEHIND IN ORD????? Hulas! (Hulas Kanodia CEO, TSA, UFS) He runs the "Çrap Carriers", he does not know? UAL is a fine airline. I have flown with them quite often. AirWisconsin is top notch. No problems with them. So... I guess you can say, By By UFS!   How were your experiences with UFS? Rate them:  Very Good:0 Not so good  AwfulI came home saying UFS was good, but now I have turned on them.MikeATL
