Current L-1011 Opperators

Hi,

I have not yet flown on an L-1011 (unless I did while I was very small) and would like to. Can anyone help me peice together a list of the current L-1011 opperators and routes they fly? I'll start with what I know,

American Trans Air (L-1011-50): unknown routes (please help!)

ATA flies the L 1011 from LAX/SFO to Hawaii, however May 1 SFO to Hawaii will go over to the 757-300 and June 1 LAX to Hawaii goes over to the 757-300. An L1011 will still be flown on Saturdays from LAX to Maui until the end of August.

Living in LA, ORD/MDW will always be home!

Oh yes, I photographed P4-MED a few weeks ago in Tucson, I'll have to scan them sometime.

I think SFO or LAX to HNL on ATA is my only chance on a 1011 unless I can snag a ride on a cargo 1011 somewhere Smile

They operate on select days at the end of march only.
i know of March 21, 28, 30, and 31
there may be some others around there, i havent checked all the dates.

FlagshipAZ - some updates to those: Air Atlanta have now parked all of their aircraft; Ducor World's ex LTU bird will never fly (apparently they cut through the main spar by accident); Air Transat are going to ground their longbodies as soon as the Christmas season is over (but keep operating the -500s); Arrow Air no longer exists, it's been absorbed into Fine Air; and of course the Operation Blessing Flying Hospital is the Eagle Jet one, so I think you might have counted that twice. I believe that there are around 40 L1011s operational at the moment.

BWIA uses 2 TriStar 500s between POS and LHR, the flights stop at one of BGI, ANU and UVF. They are seeking replacement crafts though. The other 2 of their fleet have been retired to the desert.
