Does anyone know what is going to happen with KittyHawk? I used to work with them. I miss working with them. Alot of good people with that company.

I heard today the the courts are not going to shut them down? Is this true?

How many planes have they parked. Does anyone know the tail numbers?

Looks like Kitty Hawk has about 36 727-200s...majority of them ex-AA ships, with a few ex-CO & ex-NW ships in there as well. They may still be flying Convairs, but I'm not sure of this. You can find the tail-numbers on Bill Harms' website. Regards.

Your records are outdated...they haven't flown Convairs now in 3 or 4 years...

Yes, my records on the Convairs are at least 3 years old now. They also show Kitty Hawk having 4 DC-9Fs. Are they still with Kitty Hawk, or am I'm out of touch? Regards.

There is a "former" Kitty Hawk sitting at DFW without any markings or engines on the "Grapevine" side of the airport......that cross wind runway that some jets use when landing from the west. Don't know how long it has been there, just saw it today.

Kittyhawk only has 727-200s now.

They sold the DC9 almost a year and a half ago. Not sure to who though. The Convairs were sold to Rhoads Aviation in Columbus IN.

KittyHawk is based at DFW so that 727 parked there could be a parts plane.

The plane in PHX is it parked or does it move any. It could be an aircraft used for KittyHawks AirCargo side going thru the FtWayne IN HUB at night. Or maybe with their BAX Contract.

I know after losing the USMail contracts they had to park some aircraft. Can't imageing where they would have business turn up for that amount of aircraft free.

Just courious if anyone knows the shape KittyHawk is in.
