Neither A318 nore A380 are what I would call "size wise". But as long as there are airlines to buy those aircraft - it's okay.

Have a closer look at the A318 main gear! That doesn't look like a 319/320/321 main gear, does it? I always thought the 318 is a 319 with shorter fuselage and smaller engines? Did they also do any changes concerning landing gear and wingspan??

The A380 might be hard to get used to, but I bet the day it flies for the first time there will be loads of people wanting to see it. Just imagine the size and the power when it takes off!! Wow!

When I first looked at the A318 photo, I thought it was an A340. Interesting perspective.

I`m not a big fan of the A 380 but it looks great in LH colors, especially the white engines.

Not bad. But why is the A318 registered in France? It was born in Germany so it should also carry a "D" instead of the "F"...

By the way I think nothing should be changed on the livery of Lufthansa. It is not to exciting but still I think it is great!

Until today, I found the soviet airliners as the ugliest ones, but now, the A-380 is the champion of awfulness.

That Emirates A380 is just another repaint. When I was on a bus going from Italy to Croatia, I bought a magazine called FLIGHT in Trieste. When I was on the bus, I saw an Air France A380 as the picture of the article. Same picture as the Emirates photo above. Those photos of the A380 are completly computerized images. The A380 will not be complete till' 2005 I believe. Nevertheless, the A318 is complete though!

Yep AFAIK it is taller. Laws of physics state the shorter the aircraft, the taller the tail. Same with the B747SP, A330-200 etc...

Too bad TWA is gone, they had a cool paint scheme. The A380 will be a cool plane. It will be cool to see the A318 next to a A380.
