Does Deutsche BA want to keep their livery with the different motives on the tail?
Their parent British Airways went for the "Union Jack" a long time ago but I havn't heard anything about Deutsche BA.
It would be really cool if they would keep their planes as they are.
I don't know where I heard it but they might switch their fleet to the A320 in 2004...

Thats odd! why should DBA wear "Bavaria" while BA's other foreign franchises have to put up with the "Union" flag like Com Air in South Africa and Regional Air in Kenya, shouldnt BA allow them to wear African tails too from the ex-world tail's collection "Ndebele" for Com Air and maybe some Kenyan dseign for Regional Air, or maybe all of the African designs from the collection to be applied to all of the aircraft in these two airlines, the Union flag on these airlines looks really stupid, even though they're serving BA, I think its a good way of keeping some of the world tail's
p.s better still all BA franchises should be allowed to wear world tails while the main British Airways sport the Union flag on their aircaft

Will the get only A320s or also 319s ... ??
I remember an interview where they said that the 737-300 is too big around noon time for certain flights. So a smaller Airbus than the 320 might be a good option for them as well ?

I do also remember reading in an interview that the 733 is almost empty during the day so I guess they will have the A318/A319 rather than the A320. And anyways BA ordered more A319's than A320 so chances are higher that they will get those...

I think in a way BA has lost some interest in DBA anyways, rumors are flying that they might sell them.
To be precise, they were never a franchise, that's why you can't compare them e.g. to Comair. Their livery has always been more different, e.g. the black belly.
I think they should keep all tail designs, the Bavaria tail represents their MUC base, the pop art tail their strong Berlin presence, and the other two Germany in general.
