TACV's German website, which is in fact maintained by their handling agent Aviareps, states that TACV operates, in addition to their B757-200 and the 3 ATR42-320s, a Fokker 50 aircraft and will introduce a Boeing 737-800 once the runway on the main island of Santiago at Praia has been extended (which was due to be compelted in summer 2000). Does anyone have infos about lease deals involving those two aircraft ?

I don't know what they serve in this winter's timetable, but there used to be flights in the past from BGY and BLQ (Italians make up a fair portion of Cabo Verde tourists), although I seem to recall that BLQ was chopped a while ago. Other traditional destinations are CDG, of course LIS (a couple of flights each week) and AMS, the latter now served with a stop at BSL (which replaced Zurich as the Swiss gateway). And if that is European, they served Las Palmas in the past with a weekly flight.

some while ago, TACV also served RTM in the summer season, because of the large Cabo Verdian community in Rotterdam, is there any possibility that TACV will resume this flight this summer?? anyone knows??
