Anyone know what the deal with this flight is. A 733 from PHX- Middle Georgia Rgl. @1258? Maybe a sports charter?

most likely.... the only place in GA HP flies is ATL.

With charters, you can go pretty much anywhere, as long as the airport can support the aircraft.

no, only group sales would know about that, since they handle the charters.

That's also known as Macon, GA (MCN). Ordinarily, I'd say it was either a college football charter (players themselves, or fans/boosters, etc), or a military charter. It's a little late in the year for college football (Peach Bowl is in ATL on 12/31), so I'd guess it was a military charter...

Macon is where HP gets their 737 maintnance checks done. A/C 175 should be back in PHX in a few weeks.

Ec is correct....MCN is where many c-checks are done on America West's 737s. The often have at least 2 aircraft in Macon at one time.
