Three days ag I as in goodyear Arizona and I natrulay went to see the airliner graveyard. But for some reason a Delta 767-300 was parked there. It had plastic coverings on the engines. It didnt look as if it were going anyplace soon. Is Delta already retiring their 763s? There were also a bunch of Delta 732s and 733s.
Some 732s in the new Delta Express Titles.

The Delta 767 was probably there for temporary storage. A lot of airlines are temporarily storing jets due to the US economic downturn. I think it is a fair bet that the airplane will be back in service in less than a few months.
As for the 732s and 733s, I really couldn't answer. It is my thought that the 732s are probably gone for good.
Give me a break, I created this username when I was a kid...

There are 2 options for the plane being there. It's either there for painting, as all of the widebodies are subbed out for paint, or it is in temporary storage awaiting a heavy maintenance check before favorable market conditions enable it to return to service.
