Guys,
Me and my dad (he's a great taxi service ) Were going to a town near me, we went past EGVN (RAF Brize Norton, UK) And guess what i saw??
AN AN-124!!
And the story??
Ok, there were these Russian ground people that came with the plane, they were gonna take some heavy stuff somewhere. Now usually, the nose has two ramps, they should both come up @ the same time
Now here's what happened: The russian guy who was opening the nose did one ramp b4 the other, he realised it and then they tried to fix it, but what had happened was that when the nose was closed, it didnt form an Airtight seal, and this could have been just out by cm, even mm!!
So now the plane is stuck @ EGVN for another week or so while they fix it!!
Very big plane, it was parked near one of the RAF's C-17s, now those are big, but when u put them both near each other, the AN-124 is flipping HUGE!!
Nice experience,
