I was just browsing around the flight deck pics and in my opinion eventhough the "newer" airbus and boeing planes have very advanced looking cockpits (with almost everything on screen etc.) I think that also the cockpits from the good old times just look fascinating.
It would be great if many of you could share their opinion and post examples...

Definitely the 767-400 cockpit, just like the 777
Also A330/340 cockpits are nice too.

The ATR cockpit is my favorite. The "French logic" gives it some Airbus features, while its size is more like a 737.

From the ones I've been on, I love the 75/767 layout, think its really nice. The MD11 is huge and comfy, loved that one too. As for those that I've flown, I'll give the nod to the CRJ, although the flight bad holder is a little too far aft and small for my taste

I loved the L1011 cockpit for its amazing quiet. It was very big and had the hugest windows. Sitting in their was like looking out your living room window at the world passing by from 37,000'.

I like the B777's panel but overall I like the B744's cockpit because of it's size and comfort it offers over the B777.

My favorite cockpit would be the 747-400's cockpit. I also like the 777 cockpit and the 767-400's cockpit, a near twin of the 777's.

I like the look of the New A380 flight deck. You can down load a comp generated immage of it from airbus's web site. It looks so simple and basic.

The night lighting can be adjusted. The MD-11 night photo above is just with the lighting set differently than the 777 pic. Lighting is a secondary issue to the question.
