Cathay's uniforms for the men are very chic, but the women's, while being modern and sharp, are a tad bit too "star-treky" for me, but still attractive nonetheless.

...even the F/As of BA don't like their outfit.
btw: Do they still have that hat, that looks like...well it's undescribable without getting rude, it made the ladies look like the victims in a cheap asylum slasher movie from Joe d'Amato (!!).
Regards
Andreas
PS: I don't prefer a certain uniform, as long as it's comfortable and doesn't make you physically sick just from looking at it!

Yeh I know UAL747, BA uniforms look terrible especially when the BA crew are in a group waiting at the gate, but the reason I like them too is because I think thier uniform have very strong british style, way to express thier tradition.

well i still prefer the Malaysia airlines FA uniform. its tight kebaya.. something like the SQ but obviously the cutting is a bit different! i can say that the design was a combination of classic, traditional image of malaysia and professional too...as i can see the FA work confortably with the Kebaya suit.
have a look

Turbolet - Thanks for the cheering you do for our great AirMalta.
Now about that hat - it was hated from day one. Both by the public and the Stewardesses themselves. The winter uniform hat the same style but in navy blue colour that matches the rest of the uniform. Which is quite acceptable.
Why don't we all do the AirMalta Stews a favour and write to AirMalta about those rediculous Summer hats?

LMML 14/32: Taking into consideration what a small country Malta is, I think it is a great achievement that Air Malta is such a comparably big and successful airline. As for the hat: maybe you could suggest to the stewardesses to write a petition about it. That might help more than if I, a humble passenger, write a letter about it. I like this hat better, it matches the uniform a lot better and is generally a more 'stewardess' kind of hat (the summer hat looks like beach apparel):
Cheers and go Air Malta
