I have read that a new Venezuela's flagg currier is AVENSA and that they want to start flying Europe and US by operating an A340. I have, also, read that Royal Jordanian, Air Tahiti and some other airlines are going to put into service this aircraft. Is that thrue?
Let me know please?

It is absoltely true that Air Tahiti will start operating A340-200. The aircraft will be delivered from Air France which will just operate the -300 version soon. But I don't know if Air Tahiti will buy one or even more.
Royal Jordanian wants to set a new long haul plane into its network following the sale of their Tristars. But both the A340 and the B767-300 are being taken into consideration.

I have just learnt that AOM French Airlines is going to acquire some A340-200 for their long haul routes. Check this information with Stephane. He has posted a message under the name of "AOM French Airlines". Have a look at it.
