Does anyone know anything about Skymark Airlines??? I own a Herpa model of a Skymark 767-300 and I went to look them up for pictures and they weren't there. I think that they might be Japanese because the registration is JA---- and there is a red dot on the wing. Does anyone know anything about this????

I own the same model of Skymark Airlines and I decided to look at some photos here, but they weren't there. So I have the same question. It is Jappanese because of the JA on both skymark and JAL.

From the Herpa Wings website:

"The small Japanese airline has operated two Boeing 767s since 1998. To keep the figures in the black, its planes keep sporting the most various advertisement liveries. JA757A, which now comes out as a model, already carried the logos of the Japanese TV st"

So theres the answer.

To add to that, I have a postcard of a Skymark 767 painted in a Microsoft Livery...very interesting philosophy if you ask me.

Well, it says that Skymark paints planes in various paint jobs too stay in business and get endorsements. Thats why there is a Microsoft one.

First off, their website is http://www.skymark.co.jp

Skymark is a low cost carrier operating in Japan on the Tokyo(Haneda)-Fukuoka route. They used to have other routes in the past I think, but a friend in Japan told me that the above route is their only current one.

Skymark has had several different liveries in the past, i.e. selling advertising on their aircraft fuselage. Here they are:
