Initial reports (take em with a grain of salt the size of a 1969 Buick) are that it was a Cessna 150, and it was a student pilot. If so, it would appear that he's just flunked...

Blurb from CNN now on.......

A 15 year old STUDENT PILOT crashed into the Bank of America building. No additional details.

Interesting, since you can't solo until you are 16! Wonder if it was an instructional flight?

I am seeing it in MSNBC, hopefully it is just an accident as GA does not deserve a bad wrap like this would bring.

MIAMI (Reuters) - A small plane crashed into the Bank of America building in Tampa, Florida late on Saturday afternoon, the Tampa Tribune reported in its Web site.

Television footage showed the tail of a small plane hanging out of the window of the building. The plane's number was X237IN.

There was no sign of smoke or fire.
