Just listening on my scanner, and the East Fire Chief told dispatch "The aircraft is going to make a flyby, and then will try to land"

Anyone know what's going on? I will post more if I hear anything else.

I am listening on a police/EMS scanner, so I cannot hear what ATC is saying, and I can't get AC type or airline. Can anyone else monitor these freqs?

35 Fallingeese: It was a Westjet planes so now I wonder if any damage was done and if so where the plane now resides.

36 Fallingeese: The latest: It seems that on takeoff the plane apparently hit something, damage is not know yet. 89 passengers unharmed.

37 Spyderz: A blown tire doesn't take long to change. Around an hour. I experienced that onboard a 767.
