Looks like the term "London Airport" is being streached further and further with a new airline called Mama-Airlines (I seriously doubt it will be their operating name)
The claim that they are going to operate a fleet of Boeing B737-800 aircraft to Faro, Malaga, Prague, Edinburgh, Bordeaux, Barcelona, Lanzarote, Lyon and Geneva [ ] from London Manston Airport in Kent. I am led to believe it will be a low-fares airlines.
Considering their website, they seem serious promising online booking from this January (they also plan to copy other lo-co airlines offering other services such are rental cars and so on.
They are also looking for investors and recruiting employees.
My honest personal opinion is that they will either never get off the ground or fail. They are really going head to head with the other establishes lo-co airlines. If you want to succeed in that business, you need plenty of dollars to start off with and to last for the first few years (like EasyJet) It also has to be said that their website is a little over-ambitious.
However I still wish them the best of luck, a new airline is never bad in troubled times like these.

Well, I did get their recruitment details mailed to me by an agency a little while ago, so they must be fairly serious. There is also a large catchment area (South East and South London) that I am sure, like me, is fed up with the hassles of LGW and LHR - I much prefer the less crowded airports! Best of luck to them, shame about the name though.
