Actually, it's the fith SQ A340-300 this winter. For a, to me, unknown reason SQ has operated/operates 5 "charters" into AMS. The probably reason is the busy holiday season (the first A340 arrived at AMS on 31-10, 12-12, 19-12, 02-1 and the last one today, departure always one day later). Flightnumbers SQ8528/7 all flying SIN-AMS-SIN.

I have seen the aircraft as well today. It was parked at the Martinair hangar at the "Kaagbaan".
From what I have heard the SIA A340 flies weekly into AMS departing tomorrow 11:00 AM. To bad it didn't depart today, if he had to take the taxiway to the gates that would have made a great picture!
