My question is: Which is the worlds most famous airport? We've had discussions about the most famous airlines etc. But what about famous airports?

Could it be JFK, Heathrow, CDG, LAX?

Regards

The Tom Bradley Terminal at LAX since it is in every movie that has something to do with an airport in it!
(Being the most famous airport to non-airplane educated populace)...

Tenerife: KLM B747 takes off in fog and slams into PANAM B747 while this one was still crossing the runway. Biggest aviation accident ever.

You have missed the world's most famous airport, thanks mostly to Microsoft's Flight Simulator. Aviation and non-aviation people will instantly recognize this airport...

Merril C. Meigs Field (CGX), Chicago, Illinois.

Show a person a picture of LHR or JFK I'd doubt they could ID it. (Maybe LAX if the shot had the theme building in it)

LAX is definitely world-renown.

Here's to the world's best airport and my personal favorite!  Smile
Okay, so it’s ONE of the best, anyway. Right up there with LHR, JFK and ORD.

And for the world's worst: S-V-freaking-O!

I love America. I guess that makes me Bush's poodle, but I'd rather be a dog in New York City than a prince in Riyadh.
