Im just looking at Astraeus' website, looks like a nice airline.
They are expecting to begin operations in late march as a charter airline, operating a fleet of 737s.
Callsign will be "Jetstar" and has been provisionally given AEU as its three letter designator.
They are hoping to serve many european destinations including the mediteranian from thier bases at MAN and LGW
The airline will also provide cabin upgrades if requested by the tour operator. This will consist of aminimum of 12 and a maximum of 36 seats being allocated. Pax in the upper class will get:
-Seperate dedicated checkin desks at UK airports and at overseas airports where available
Priority boarding and disembarking
-complimentary champagne cocktails on outbound early morning departures
-complimentary softdrinks throughout flight and 1/4 bottle of whine with meals
-upgraded hot meals with larger appetizers and enhanced entrees

I hope they provide what their website says! Sounds very good for a charter and the following is only what they say they'll provide in their standard class, not their premium (which they're calling Star Class):
Astraeus offers a high standard of in-flight service which includes:
Quality hot meals on all sectors of over two hours; meals include a starter, hot entrée, dessert, breadroll & butter followed by complimentary tea and coffee
Complimentary champagne cocktails on outbound early morning departures
Kiddie packs for younger travellers
A tariff bar service
A range of gifts and fragrances on sale (plus tobacco and alcohol on non-EU flights)
Complimentary newspapers on flights inbound to the UK
Sounds better than the usual crap!
BTW, they say they'll operate a mixture of 300 and 700 series B737s.
