I was looking at CX´s website and I found that they have 7 Airbus aircraft (4x330 and 3x340) fitted with their new Business Class, CX code for the new configured 340´s is 34C and 333 for the 330´s.

Also found that the 330-300 were fitted with new first class suite seats.

Which destinations are served with this aircraft ?

Are they planning to install first class suites on their 777 fleet ?

On a side note, you seem to be asking a lot of questions recently. You planning a trip to Australaisa? / The Far East?

Anyone can fly, only the best Soar.

I believe the A330-300's serve CX's East Coast Australian destinations on a regular basis. They also operate on certain Asian sectors. In December I flew from Kuala Lumpur to Hong Kong on a 3-class A330-300 (with First and new Business) but as CX only sell Business and Economy on the route - the entire First and Business cabin was designated Business Class.

CX's new Biz Class product is currently doing HKG/SYD and HKG/MEL flights with TPE, KUL and BKK on intra Asian routes.

It is an excellent provide with thoughtful features such as flat-stretch sleeper seats, 10.4 inches PTV, AVOD system, EMAIL and INTRANET which other airlines do not have, The Bar and Dressing Room, as well as great service that CX is famous for.

Hmm...weird that if the new Business Class is plying on the KUL route, why don't they provide/sell First Class seats as well instead of having just Business Class tickets. Which flight is Cathay using for the new Business Class? CX 721 or CX 725?

Good product, but unfortunately no pilots to fly the aircraft. What a pity. All that expense so they can sit idle and then be superceded by SIA’s new Spacebed that will one day come….we hope that time is soon. On a side-note, one really worries about the scheduling people behind CX, especially when it comes to Perth and Brisbane. They can’t understand why people aren’t flying with them so they reduce flights….not raise them to compete with SQ’s thrice daily. Really. I mean really. Run like a funny farm

OdiE,
the 3-class A330's fly the KUL route on selected days only - I flew on a Sunday on CX724. CX probably don't market First because most of their flights into KUL use 2-class aircraft and really, there's no market for F. But if you choose your CX flights carefully, it's a great treat to travel Business Class and strech out on a Cathay first sleeper, as I did.

What about their flights to SFO, FCO, AMS, YVR and YYZ ?

The SFO and YYZ/YVR routes have an important number of business travelers that could use their new product.

The New B744 Biz class has served YVR/JFK once in Dec on CX888/889, not sure if she will visit North American more often as the front end demand on that flight is really high.
