I've heard that one of the ex-US Airways DC-9 is being worked on for delivery to Egypt...sounds very unlikely to me, but who knows..Can anyone confirm that?
And where will the other DC-9/MD-80 from US Airways go?

Over the years alot of ex-US DC-9s have endedup with several charter outfits. As for the MD-80s, who knows, there are 34 total I believe. Maybe AirTran will pick up a few for Florida....

The MD-80's for Airtran, don't think so, unless they are dirt cheap. It's important for Airtran to have a young fleet. The 717 gives them that. I think Airtran is looking at the 737-800's or 757's.
