As business is increasing for KLM Cityhopper and VLM Airlines would they change fleet from F50/F70 to A318's? What kind of airline would exchange its present fleet for A318's. Have a look at the A318's of KLM and VLM via the following direct link (they didn't ordered the A318, this is just my impression): http://www.webstudio.nl/liladesign/airliners/view_alone.nhtml?profile=airliners&UID=10013

Looks nice, but didn't you forget the taller tail of the A318?
VLM has been rumored so often to go jets (Avro, FD728), so who knows. KLC still seems happy with the F70, although there have been rumors about the A319.
With mother KLM a 737NG, I don't think it would make sense.

Air Orange, KLM Cityhopper has just recently signed a Letter of Intent for 30 728JET to replace the F50/70 fleet fromthe middle of this decade onwards. VLMhas been said to be interested in the 728JET but that was already some 18 month ago. Still, very nice pictures... The VLM looks really cude. Could you design a 728JET with these colors as well?

But compare them with the photos. I think the larger tail was changed later during the design process. I remember at a time it also had a 737 2nd Gen lookalike tail.

Oh come on...do a 728Jet for us. The side views are in their specifications section of their brochure. And..rumour has it that KLM is going to take 30 of them...(well...a LOI anyway..)

There was a rumour a while ago that JAT may order some to replace their DC-9s but it's just a rumour. I would love to see an A318 in JAT colours though.....

America West has order the A318, due to be delivered in the summer of 2003. Any chance you could make an A318 with the America West color scheme, Air_Orange?

Hi:
I doubt that KLM City hopper order the A318 for replace their Fokker 70s and 100s. The best option KLM City hopper is the 737-600/ or -700 for common cabin with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines.

Well with a RWY of 1510m, you can land a small jet (737 and probably an A318) to ANR but I guess with heavy payload restrictions, and definately not in case of contaminated runway. Therefore, for a local based operator such as VLM, flying that aircraft out of ANR would be absolutely ridiculous. The Belgian weather is often very bad so you can expect a wet runway on a nearly daily basis. But on the other hand, if VLM is willing to create a new base on a larger airport, the A318 might be an option I agree.

Hey...
Really nice artwork! I am really a big fan of your designs.
Also, I would like to ask you to help me with some design work for my company (tour operator from Norway).
Please, if you can e-mail me (add. in my profile), so that I can give you more info...
