Are there more options with no 737's or A320's? or extrange and cheap conections?

Thanks!!!

Uhmmm, when I was in TLV, all IBERA aircrafts I have
seen were B757s and they have a code share agreement with El AL which flies B747-200 on this route! Hope this helps you.

cheers,

I hope to be in a 747, but in BCN I've never seen one in BCN!. more probably a 757. I'll see...

The OAG schedules for the Iberia flight an A320.
The code-share flight of El Al still schedules the older A300 but in every case the flight conducting airline aircraft is the reliable source of information.
Flightprice is listes as 399 Euros plus the taxes!

If you want bigger planes than those of the A320/B737 size you´ll have to connect.
Airlines that´ll suit you then are Swissair (flying to Tel Aviv with the A330-200 from Zurich) and Lufthansa (serving TLV from FRA even with A340-300)

Cheers,
LH744

Lufthansa´s flight 686 from FRA arrives at Tel Aviv at 15:10h local. This flight is operated by an A340-300!
Swissair´s flight 332 arrives at TLV coming in from ZRH at 14:45h local.
But both airlines have overnight flights coming in at TLV at 03:45 (Swissair) and 03:55 (Lufthansa)!!

I don't think LY operates the 747 on TLV-BCN anymore, with the slow-down in travel to Israel, and the fact that (apparently) there are no LY 742's left in pax service (I believe those were the a/c used on the route).

LY744.

LY772:

I'll be in Tel-Aviv at 1st Feb. I'll visit Jerusalem and hopefully if I have enough time, the death sea. I leave at 4th. (I have to work!)
-any suggestion?
-How is security at TLV?

I didn't found any LY flight, They uses the Iberia's aircraft MAD-BCN-TLV as far as I know
(LY8990 - IB6990) and the aircraft seems to be an A320.
