In Englnad we noramlly call the FA's Stewardes'. Is this an insult to them as every time you talk to a pilot the correct me and say Flight Atendant or Cabin Crew. Am I eing rude using that word inthe US? And in Englnad do you call the stewardes' stil or have times moved on?

Yep, in Russia we have that terms too: steward and stewardess ("stewardessa" in russian). However, during my four years in UK I have never heard neither of those terms used here, but Cabin Crew instead.
So, just prior to take off a crew manager announces: "Cabin Crew seats for take off please" or something like that...
