When can we see A340-500s and A340-600s in service?
I am very impatient with these as Air Canada has both on order.

And if they follow what they did with the a340-300 calgary should be first served.

Any Info
thanx

I think Virgin is getting the 346 soon, but I may be wrong. Swissair had orderded them but went bust, So Virgin picked up their order. As for the 345, I can't help you there

SQ has delayed their delivery date until 2005, the rest of the A340-500 should enter service in 2003. Virgin will get their first aircraft early this year once the testing has completed. I think after virgin Lufthansa gets theirs.

Virgin is the launch customer recieving 2 of them in June of this year, Air Canada is a close second recieving their first in August.

Swissair would have been second if they hadn't gone bust.

Kris
