I was looking at their route structure, and was trying to figure out if they might ever serve LAS. I think they would do well in the market. I know I would be flying them!

Do you think they will ever fly to LAS?

Do well??? With all those nonstops currently offered by America West (4x daily) and National (6x daily)? And to the most low-yield market in the country? What tangible evidence do you have that they would do well?

Yield is not-overly important to a low-cost carrier but LAS already is served enough.

The supply in the LAS-JFK is so great and the demand is so-so, which puts the yield equilibrium at a very low level. Yield is VERY important to ALL carriers including low-cost carriers...if they can't generate the yields and revenues that fits into their business plan, it won't fly.
