LOT doesn't own any of their 767s indeed, the aircraft involved, SP-LPB, is owned by FSB Trustee. So actually they should have reported it is wet-subleased to Universal Airlines of Guyana. It means that LOT will offer crew, overhaul etc. along. Of course LOT didn't stop transatlantic, but 5 767s was a little too much in the winter season after Sept. 11, they now operate 4. But expect them to get the 767 back or pick/lease other aircraft before their busy summer schedule.
nobody has ever died from hard work, but why take the risk?
