Libyan Arab Signs For 26 Airbuses

I just read that Libyan Arab Airlines signed for 20 A320, 3 A330 and 3 A 340. Any comments?

Probably there is a US embargo against Lybia and they can´t order Boeings? Again politics... But Reno_air, where did you read it?

The european and american embargos were lifted not long ago. I read it magazine named ''aero international''.

They were lifted because Libya wanted more Boeing aircraft as previously stated in another post. I'd like to hear more about this, espically when noone else has reported it and if a magazine has it then the press release should have already gone out, at least usually.
