AS your may now DELTA will shift their FRA-BOM-FRA flight to CDG. (Eff. Mar30). DL has 14 slots a week at FRA for this flight, the question is , what are they doing with them ?
Could they sell the slots ?
Start another flight, lets say FLL-FRA, BOS-FRA, DFW-FRA ?
About a year ago, I heard from a top executive of DL´s Skyteam partner Aeromexico, that they wanted to start MEX-FRA nonstop, but there were no slots available at FRA, maybe DL could sell those slots to AM ...

I don't think DL will start any new flights to FRA next summer as they have been scaling back their FRA operation during the last few years. Some years ago, FRA was Deltas European hub, but they eliminated services to all non-hub cities in the late 1990s. Now all that is left are twice daily flights to ATL and dailies to JFK and CVG. So I don't see the potential for new destinations. All I could imagine would be aditional flights to either ATL or CVG. If they were serious about not giving up FRA, they would not have eliminated so many flights in good economic times. In today's situation don't count on any aditional services.

In the past, as recent as 1993, DL had FRA-MIA, FRA-MCO, and FRA-DFW. I agree with Rizzibird that a new flights are unlikely, but an FLL-FRA flight would really work great, and BOS-FRA is perfect if DL is serious about European expansion.
