Does jetBlue opperate out of the same gates as WN (Southwest) at OAK? I would love to photograph some of their aircraft taxiing in and out and at the gates on my trip to SAN from OAK on WN on February 22nd.

I wish JetBlue would come to texas, if only because I enjoy seeing A320's! Let's see how low southwest can really go (I love southwest too, but after seeing ten gazillion 737's everyday I need some variety. I love seeing those frontier airubes, planes don't get much cooler looking than that, IMO). I wonder what WN would do if B6 started operating out of DFW, IAH, AUS, or SAT?
That would take some guts on jetblue's part and it would probably be a dumb business decision, but hey, I can dream!

The majority of Southwest's flights out of OAK are from Terminal Two, while jetBlue's gate is at the far end of Terminal One, but the last time I was in OAK, back in August, 2001, I noticed that Southwest is also using Gates 12 and 17 in Terminal One. If I remember correctly, jetBlue's gate was adjacent to Southwest's Gate 17.

With the build-up that Jet Blue will start at LGB, do you think that their service to ONT will be axed? There used to be two daily to JFK before 9/11 but now there is only one a day. Does it make much sense to have a hub in Long Beach and have one daliy flight out of ONT? Or do you think that they will add more flights to ONT? Maybe if they keep the route American will start flying it too like what they just did in OAK.

I doubt that JetBlue will consider Mid America airport as it doesnt seem to have the potential yet to become a destination. JB must really service places it knows it CAN make a profit, ad im not sure it would in St Louis....but you never know, this is the airline industry.

I wish them the best of luck on the JFK-SJU route as AA will dump fares and they are an established airline in this route. It's their biggest route out of San Juan and they won't let JetBlue take market share away from them. JetBlue better start advertising and let the people know they are going to Puerto Rico cause nothng has been announced over there.
