Interesting, I didn't know they had F-16s at Travis. I thought all of them for the Norcal area were at the ANG unit Fresno, or did that change recently?

Other media coverage says that Travis AFB was contacted and dispatched the jets. But note in this article it never says the F-16s were based at Travis, just dispatched by the base. So it could just be poor rewriting at the SJ Mercury. I have a feeling the planes were based at FAT.
