Alright guys i got this problem. I will need to fly from southern Utah to Salt Lake on March 27th. my choices of Airports are
St. George SGU
Cedar City CDC
The thing is that i need to get to SLC sometime after 5PM preferably. So CDC's last flight gets in at 3:51PM. So it narrowed down between St. George and Page, Arizona. I have a question about Page.
I found tickets that are
all on United/Great Lakes but those cost $319.50
I will be flyign one way by the way. I don't want to pay 319.50 for a one-way ticket.
My other choice is
The problem with that is that PGA-PHX is on Great Lakes and PHX-SLC is on America West. The connectiong time is like 2 hours. And the PHX-SLC flight is the last PHX-SLC of the day. Now my question is say my PGA-PHX is delayed, and I miss the America West flight, does America West tell me "oh well we're not responsible for your Great Lakes flight" and force me to pay to fly on the morning flight? Or will they put me up somewhere and just put me on the next flight free of charge?
By the way I am 16 so I won't have that much money to spend on a last minute ticket because of a missed connection between two different airlines.
Please tell me any info you could have. Thanks

Rather than fly...I'd look into a van/bus type shuttle service to LAS or SLC and then take Southwest if you want to save money. If you can't make it work cause you run into a problem with the lateness of the hour....get a hotel locally and go in the morning or just get to the big city....stay near the airport....and fly out in the morning.

Doesn't Great Lakes also connect from Page and Moab to Frontier @ DEN, then Frontier from DEN to SLC. Check out Frontier's website because I could have sworn I saw those two on there the other day when I was looking for some tickets.

I have always wondered about the PGA-PHX service anyways... might as well take it to satisfy my curiousity. It would also be an interesting way to get from Phoenix to Denver, via every small strip in AZ, UT, and CO.
Anyways 2 hours should be fine. There should be at least one more flight back to Salt Lake, most likely the late flight via LAS.
Once you get off of the plane head out to the outer curb at Terminal 2 (I assume GLA operates out of T2 at Sky Harbor) and take the inter-terminal bus over to T4 and you should be fine.
