hello every one. For Flight Attendants of "airlines within an Airline" such as Metro jet, or United Shuttle, are they hired as FA's for United Airlines/US airways or for the Airline within an Airline? If they are hired for metro jet/or united shuttle, can they work on mainline flights?

I can't speak for UA, however, MetroJet by US Airways is simply a product of US Airways, such as US Airways Shuttle. In simple terms, MetroJet is US Airways' low fare service. F/A are hired by mainline and they get a chance to bid whichever flights they choose to work, depending on base. MetroJet F/A's are based at BWI, possibly a few at BOS. Hope this info helps. JohnD
