I read that Vanguard just received their 5th and 6th on 2/1 and 2/4. Does anybody know what colors they are using for these a/c? Also, what are the regs?

Not sure what the reg's are but I believe that one is a Dark Forest Green and one an Eggplant color... Both are very dark, almost black... haven't seen them yet, looking forward to it.

This may be one of them (can't tell for sure):

I am not sure it matters. If they don't get the federal loan Vanguard could cease to exist and it doesn't look very likely. Read the news release on their web site or Yahoo! stock boards. Good luck to them.

don't discount this airline to quickly. Their obituary has been written many times on this forum and in the media world, yet they keep on trucking.

When they remove those 737s and add frequency with the MD-80s and offer low fare first class service, it'll be exciting as they will probably pursue the Airtran model which has worked handsomly for the Atlanta airline.

But that obituary (their constant loss of money) is why the government will turn them down for the loan. I hate to see airlines go, but this one, for some reason, does not make money. Who is the rich guy supporting this airline anyway??
