Easyjet To Lease A319s?

Heres an extract from the euro Aviation news provided by Thomas Jaeger (ch-aviation@bluewin.ch):

easyJet (London Luton) is planning to add Cyprus to its network. It would
operate flights from London Luton to Larnaca and Paphos. easyJet is
reportedly preferring the A319-100 to the B737-700 for its next expansion
plans. It announced earlier it wants to buy 75 new aircraft either from
Airbus or Boeing, now it is planning to lease them. However, it will in any
case take delivery of the other B737-700s still to be delivered.

Looks like i could have been right. I always had a feeling ezy would go the airbus route  Smile

Manni Well they will either regret it or love it. I will watch the progress of both RyanAir and Easyjet to see!

Despite what this article implies, I would still say that they chances of Easyjet going Airbus are very slim

Manni, the Boeing 737 is a very high quality a/c so I dont know what your implying.
I still expect EZY to go 737-700.
