According to DFW's website, as well as Korean Air, DFW service to ICN is now being run by the 777-200 of KE, instead of the 744. I guess the demand wasn't large enough for a 744? Seems hard to believe since DFW and ATL are both Delta hubs.

Also, the website said that the 772 that came in on Feb 8, KE36, was the one with the World Cup Livery.

DL does not yet codeshare with KE even though they are part of Skyteam. Hopefully, this will change soon. I have always wanted to see the Far East. Safety issues caused the codeshare to be lifted a couple of years ago, but it appears that DL is planning on reinstating it in the near future.

The flights are splitting late this spring. Non-stop 772, thrice weekly for each city.

DFW is not a Delta hub. BTW, DFW/ATL is really not a big route from Korea.

Here's a little factoid.

Korean is now operating 8 weekly 747 freighters into DFW. A few Months back they enplaned more cargo in DFW than AA did in their largest hub with hundreds of flights including many Intl widebodies.
