Airline With The Most 747's

I was reading a Aug 2000 issue of Airways and an article on Singapore airlines mentioned that they were the worlds largest operator of the 747-400. Is this still the case and which airline has the most 747's(100,200,300,400 series)combined? I'm thinking that JAL and BA are up there.

I remember that exact Airways artical and that confusing me because I thought BA was the largest 744 operator

BA is the largest 744 operator. In a later issue, Airways admitted the mistake.

BA have 57 I think.A few have no fuel tank in the tail resulting in them flying from Gatwick

I think JAL took delivery of more than 100 B747s altogether.

JAL should replace some of their 747s. Some of them are -100Ds!
