I have just heard that a Ryanair jet enroute from STN to Vesterås in sweeden had to make an emergency landing somewhere in Denmark due to a engineproblem and loss of cabin preassure.
Yus wanted to now if this was a 732 or a 738?

This article tells us that a FR B737-800 had to make an emergency landing in Tirstrup (denmark) due to loss of cabinpreassure and problems with an engine. The aircraft carried 105 pax (all uninjured) and 30 ambulances and 3 fire engines were sendt to the scene, among with a team of doctors.

Yep, this afternoon. There was an engine problem on an FR 737. The crew chose to close down that engine and descend to "safe altitude" since reserve cabin pressure is no longer present with on engine inop.
It was a brand new 737-800.
Plane landed eventlessly at Aarhus, Denmark (also called Tirstrup Airport) which incidentally also is a busy Ryanair destination.
The 105 passengers were kept on board after landing. It must indicate that it was an easy fix, probably a loose fire indicator wire or such.
