Singapore Airlines Limited released details of passenger load factor in the month leading to Chinese New Year. It announced a 2% increase in overall load factor to 69.7%.

Passenger load factor was 69.7% and SIA Cargo's load factor rose 4.2% to 64.2%. RPK (whatever that is, I know it's something to do with the amount of money it gets but if someone could explain it in more detail I would be grateful) rose 0.3%.

Personally, from an un-business POV, this signifies a good recovery at Singapore Airlines Group and for the industry as a whole. SIA.LTD was up S$0.10 in trading.
