It looks cool! Like ATA's 757-300.

so after all I guess that Icelandair didn't convert the -300 order to one for the -200. Finally I'm 100% sure about this!

I guess that as always LHR will get them. It's always Londow that gets the new birds and even with the A380 it won't be different...

It will be used on routes to LHR, and some high capacity US routes, and will probably make several visits to Copenhagen. After all, Icelandair operates something like 3 daily flights to CPH, sometimes 4 in the summer, compared to 2 daily to LHR.

I wonder if they will use it in the US like MSP. Are they going to anymore new places in the US?

My guess is that it's mainly going to be used to JFK and Florida, but it may be switched around if necesary. It will also go to Europe - probably mostly LHR and CPH. Icelandair's route structure allows a high utilization of the aircrafts .. USA during the night and Europe during the day with all routes crossing morning and afternoon at Keflavik.

Great News for Icelandair.
I had a gret trip w them. I hope I will be able to visit Iceland again some time.
The 753 will allow them to increase their profitability- more capacity w almost same costs.

Last night around midnight I sent the picture as an e-postcard to an Icelandic friend. He was reading his newspaper while it dropped into his mailbox.

He forwarded the e-postcard to the newspaper. And this morning the picture was in the Icelandic newspaper - in color!

My friend called me to tell that. I told him, "oh boy who is going to pay the copyright violation fines?" But he told me that he had talked to the newspaper man on the phone, and everything was in good order.

Regards, Preben Norholm
