On sunday here in Daytona Beach, during the Daytona 500 race, there were about five aircraft in the sky, flying formation writing words. They would write it so it appeared to look like "dot matrix". They looked to be at about 8,000 ft. It was very interesting as they were up there all day writing the words, all sorts of advertisements. Things such as "Ford is No. 1" "Ford is No. 1 SUVs" "GEICO" "God Bless"...etc. etc.
Does anyone know what company or who does these? What kind of aircraft, or any available information about these "sky writers". I found it very interesting.
