I was at the Bermuda Airport website, and I noticed that the only Euro-flight was the BA2232(BDA-LGW) and BA2233(LGW-BDA) It flies three times a week. I was just wondering, why does BA have that service from LGW, and not from LHR, can someone explain.
P.S. the BA 777200 is the largest aircraft currently flown there- Do you know if at any times 747s flew there?
life wasn't worth the balance, or the crumpled paper it was written on

As far as I know London - Heathrow has no more slots (available spaces to land/takeoff) available to big carriers like BA. Gatwick usually handles most leisure traffic for London anyways, while Heathrow concentrates on business passengers and flights to major destinations, ie Paris, Frankfurt, New York, San Francisco, Tokyo, Hong Kong, you get the picture.
As for the second part, have no idea.
