Believe it or not, UA may be hiring people soon in hub locations. Once the list of recall employees is diminished, new hires from the street (other carriers' furloughs) will be a very likely possibility.
Denvers June schedule is planned to be just a few pecentage pints short of the pre-Sept 11th levels with 280 flights.
I hope this is good news for anyone on this website that got furloughed! Visit www.united.com for an application if you have never worked for UA before.

I know that a lot of the furloughed employees will not be comming back as they have found jobs elsewhere, so there will may very well be openings in the comming months.

LOL...They have yet to call back ANY of the Rampers in ORD that were furloughed in September. It will be a couple years before they hire any ramp people off the street, at least in ORD. Meanwhile we keep paying $200+/month for health insurance since Georgie boy doesn't help us out....

Who cares what's cheesy? Announcements like these indicate that United is making great progress with it's comeback. Their ontime performance is running around 20% above goal as well.

Hey bagsmasher--It's Tommy the Commie Daschle that is holding up the stimulus package. You've been reading too much socialist literature from the IAM.TC
