Thanks for all your help guys. I decided to get the 10-13XL's from David Clark after numerous recommendations for DC's. I have a few friends who fly and they said that DC's are the way to go. The DC 10-13's have gel ear pads so hopefully they'll be comfortable. I wanted something that will last a long time. Thanks for the suggestions again, really appreciate it. I'm planning to leave school a tad early tomorrow so I can beat rush hour traffic and pick them up. They on the north side of SNA next to the Bizjet parking. Excited to use em on Sunday's night flight!

You won't be disappointed by a David Clark headset. I have the 10-13.4. It's a great headset. It greatly reduces the noise of the engine(s) and props.

thanks! I've heard nothing but good about David Clarks. Reliability, customer service, etc...Hopefully I'll have them for a long time.

Awesome headsets!! They have a great warranty too, my instructor accidently ran over his parking a 172. DC sent him a brand new pair free of charge!!

Now that's customer service!!
