Anyone know how many airlines are using the Tu-204 and how many of this type are in service total?

At the moment there are 5 airlines in Russia and 1 airline in Egypt. They are Sibir(Novosibirsk),Dalavia(Khabarovsk),Kavminvodavia(Mineralnye Vody),Krasair(Krasnoyarsk) and Air Cairo.Total they operate 5 pieces,I think.By the way already one TU-214 is in use(also by Dalavia from Khabarovsk).Regards

The correct information is:

Siberia Airlines (not Sibir which is Russian)
KrasAir
Kavminvodyavia (also known as KMV)
Air Cairo (flying the RR engined -120 model)
Airrep

There is a Tu-204 at Bykovo which is undergoing refurbishment at the present moment.

Previous operators of the Tu-204 are:

Perm Airlines
Vnukovo Airlines (merged into Siberia Airlines)
Rossiya
TransEuropean Airlines

Dalavia has never flown the Tu-204...rather they are flying the Kazan-built Tu-214.

The Tu-204s which are flown by Air Cairo are also flown on behalf of TNT under trials, and I understand TNT are ordering a number of Tu-204s which will be operated by the KATO Group/Air Cairo for their freight business.

TNT has ordered new TU-204 or TU-214 and they are going to operate them with Heavylift as far as I know.

TNT has ordered new TU-204-120C, not TU-214...!

Moreover, I'm not sure that TNT has either ordered them or leased them from Air Cairo Cargo.

Benjamin
