I think this is the right forum but feel free to correct.
I will be visiting New York soon and will be flying in and out several times. I have only ever been to EWR before but this time it will be JFK and LGA.
Can anyone enlighten me as the best/easiest/cheapest ways to get to and from these airports from Manhatten (34th street) where I will be staying. Thanks in advance.

I think the least expensive way would be the bus. New York Airport Express bus for $13.00. Go to the website http://www.jfkairport.com Then click on TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS. It will tell you about the bus to 34th St.

Yeah EWR has the Airtrain rail link now which goes to NY Penn station ( 8th ave, 34st).
JFK gets Airtrain link to the 'A' Subway line this year, in 2003 the connection to NY Penn station opens. But for now take the bus from JFK, or a cab.
As for LGA, quickest (and cheapest) way to Mid- town is to take a cab from LGA to the N train station at Astoria and Ditmars blvd. The trip from LGA to the N train is only a mile or two, and the Subway goes right into Mid-Town and only costs $1.50.

There's also an MTA bus that serves LGA and connects with the N train (or at least there was a year ago...) -- some great spotting on that side of the Parkway, too!

If it's cheapest you want: at JFK take the free Port Authority bus to the Howard Beach subway station (bus says "Subway", I think) and ride the A train to 34th St. Fare $1.50 and takes maybe 45-50 minutes.
At LGA get the Q33 bus to the 7 subway or the M60 bus that runs along 125th St in Manhattan, crossing the different subway lines. I forget whether you can pay the $1.50 on the bus and get a free transfer to the subway (maybe you have to buy a Metrocard to get a free transfer) but in any case it can't cost more than $3 total.
