I don't have the article in front of me, but in the Airways Magazine article on Air Malta a few months back, it said that there was some kind of partnership between DL and KM. Does anyone know any of the details of this "partnership"? Also, is there any new info on the Air Malta fleet plans?? Any news on if there is going to be a new Air Malta livery?

Are you sure it was Air Malta? It may have been Tunisair. The March 2002 issue of Airways had an article about Tunisair and unequivocally stated that Tunisair was negotiating a codeshare agreement with Delta so that Delta passengers could connect to their flights in CDG. Tunisair's CEO also clearly stated that he would like for the airline to join Skyteam eventually.
It's a new day. Every moment matters. Now, more than ever.

As fas as i know there is no collaboration between Air Malta and Delta. Two years ago Air Malta offered together with Continental a flight Malta-JFK. This operation was cancelled after 1 year coze of disappointing figures.

I am not sure about the KM/DL partnership. But I know KM had a codeshare agreement with TWA from MXP to JFK. Then TWA ceased operations from MXP before packing up altogether.
Re-KM fleet planning a decision is to be announced by the end of this month. Rumours are in favour of a mixed B737 NG fleet based around the -800. But AirMalta has leased two A320's for the Summer. One of these is said to be leased for 3 years. About the new livery, Lilla Design have been entrusted with the job.
