I was flying from LGA-PVD yesterday on an RJ-135. There were only 5 people on board. On takeoff roll we were ( as best I can describe) zig-zagging down the runway. Felt like I was on an old commuter plane. Certainly didn't feel right but I'm sure there is a logical explanation. Would love some feedback.

Hmmm,

I fly the 135/145 series and have always noticed that the airplane is very stable down the runway. The only explanation I can come up with would be a good crosswind in which the tail gets pushed away from the wind turning the nose into the wind. If you over correct you will end up going down the runway in a zigzag fashion. That or some really touchy nosewheel steering.

IAHERJ: Thanks for the feedback. You confirmed what I thought. We landed on my flight from DFW to the South and took off on my connection to the west. When we landed wind was out of the south at 15. I fly the ERJ's a lot and love 'em, but this seemed like an odd experience.

Oh man!! That is ain't not enough with only 5 passengers onboard flight to PVD. And I need get more passengers load on the flight to PVD nonstop. I know worse as for delayed in LGA by last years and happened some flight been cut slots in New York-La Guardia. And they need get builted more new runway in the New York City-LGA flight in-out flight. That is very busiest airports and alots of the airplanes. Mostly that JFK airport were not much as for delay at the airports and waiting as for takeoff and landing slots. That is exactly need to do something get try flight by the on-time, okay. That is very important as for the airlines in LGA. Do you had anything else more nonstop in and out from New York-JFK or EWR flight. See ya!!
